INFECTIONS AND DEATHS JUMP IN WHITTIER AREA AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS OF DECLINES

There were nine deaths in the Whittier Area from COVID 19 yesterday, December 10. There were 4 deaths in the City of Whittier and 3 deaths in Hacienda Heights. South Whittier and La Mirada each one COVID 19 death.

The three leading communities once again jumped above 100 new infections.

Here are the top 5 highest infection numbers for December 10, 2020:

1. Pico Rivera- 140 new infections

2. City of Whittier- 123 new infections

3. South Whittier- 104 new infections

4. West Whittier/Los Nietos- 65 new infections

5. Hacienda Heights and La Mirada- 56 new infections each
