WHITTIER AREA HAD ZERO DEATHS FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE MAY 2020 ON MONDAY

According to the latest Whittier Area COVID 19 report, for the first time since May of last year, the entire Whittier Area had zero COVID fatalities on Monday. The Monday data was reported and analyzed by algorithm on Tuesday. The data report yesterday showed that no fatalities or deaths from COVID 19 in any of the communities that make up the Whittier Area.

However caution is warranted as we don't know if this is because of a delay in the reporting of deaths, a glitch in the data, or if there were truly no deaths but no COVID deaths is what the data are telling us. If verified this is good news for Whittier and all other Whittier Area communities. When we check today's data report, today's and tomorrow's report will verify if we are looking at an aberration but at the moment, the data is not showing any more deaths from COVID 19.
