WHITTIER AREA COVID 19 INFECTION DAILY NUMBERS DROP IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS

The data shows the number of people testing positive for the SAR COV 2 virus dropped to their lowest levels in weeks. But at the same time as the daily number of new infections was dropping, the positivity rate was going up. The number measures the likelihood of people in a given community of coming up positive for the virus that causes COVID 19 if they take a test. For the whole Whittier Area the positivity ratio has risen to 19%.
