WHITTIER POLICE PUTTING MORE OFFICERS ON THE GREENWAY TRAIL

According to an official post on the app Nextdoor by Whittier Police Chief Aviv Bar, Whittier PD will be increasing its patrols on the Whittier Greenway Trail after acquiring a new ATV which will replace the motorcycles that department currently uses to patrol the trail.

Bar said in his statement that the ATV will be safer and more visible than the motorcycles were. He said it will allow the department to put more officers onto the trail to increase the safety and security of those who use it.
