Editorial Clarification – Image Sourcing and Reporting

Whittier 360 News Network sources candidate images from publicly available official materials, including campaign websites and official social media pages.

The images used in the District 2 article were obtained from those sources and were not generated by artificial intelligence.

Due to platform limitations, images in previously published articles are not always able to be updated. However, we are open to using preferred official campaign images provided by candidates in future coverage to ensure accuracy and consistency.

The concern raised relates to the image used, which is separate from the substance of the reporting. The article is based on publicly available campaign finance disclosures, which remain accurate and unchanged. It will not be retracted.

Under standard journalistic practice, issues related to images or presentation do not warrant retraction of fact-based reporting. If any clarification regarding the image is needed, it can be addressed independently without affecting the underlying reporting.
