Whittier City Council Approves Initial Greenleaf Promenade Design Concepts

On Tuesday, the Whittier City Council approved the initial Greenleaf Promenade design concepts, paving the way for the much-anticipated Uptown streetscape construction. The approval advances the city closer to the Request-for-Proposals (RFP) process, which is expected to begin this summer.

The Greenleaf Promenade project will transform Greenleaf Ave in Uptown Whittier into a pedestrian-friendly corridor with wider sidewalks, landscaping, street furniture, and public art.
