NEW COVID 19 CASES CONTINUE TO STEADILY INCREASE ACROSS THE BOARD IN WHITTIER AREA

The number of new daily cases continued to increase in all areas of the Whittier Area yesterday.

The communities with the top 10 highest number of new cases yesterday were:

1. City of Whittier - 30 new cases

2. City of Pico Rivera- 25 new cases

3. Unincorporated South Whittier- 24 new cases

4. Unincorporated Hacienda Heights- 15 new cases

5. City of La Habra - 10 new cases

6. Unincorporated West Whittier/Los Nietos- 9 new cases

7. City of Santa Fe Spring- 7 new cases

8. Unincorporated North Whittier and City of La Mirada- 6 new cases each

9. Unincorporated East La Mirada- 3 new cases

All parts of the Whittier Area saw a significant increase in new cases.
