In a historic night for both the nation and Whittier 360 News Network, we are proud to report that our coverage of the 2024 election was 100% accurate. This year’s rigorous, unbiased approach resulted in Whittier 360 being among the first to call key states like Michigan and Nevada for Donald Trump, even before other outlets such as AP. With the Republican victory, Donald Trump has now secured a second term, bolstered by wins in crucial swing states, along with support from diverse communities across the country, including Muslims, Amish, Latinos, and Black men.
The 2024 election results arrive in a deeply divided America, with many fearing that the intense political climate could lead to unrest. Our network took substantial steps to ensure accuracy, impartiality, and trustworthiness in this coverage. Unlike the missteps of 2020, when inaccurate calls were made for several states, Whittier 360 separated commentary from factual reporting, removing potential biases from news reports. We also dropped some 2020 sources that influenced our calls with inaccurate information, replacing them with trusted outlets like AP and NBC, which provided comprehensive, county-by-county data. This granular insight enabled us to track trends accurately, allowing us to confidently call states like Michigan and Nevada for Trump this morning.
Throughout the night, Whittier 360’s coverage stood out for both its precision and timeliness. We called states for Trump when others had already done so but also broke ground as the first to call critical states. Georgia and Pennsylvania, for example, were called by Whittier 360 just minutes before other networks. Around 1125 pm last night we accurately called the election for Trump.
While the election saw its share of fraud and integrity issues—including reports of non-citizens on the voter rolls and stolen ballots—all eligible voters were ultimately able to cast their votes. Foreign influence was also documented, with nations from Russia to Mexico, Iran, and even Israel attempting to sway American voters.
Despite the aggressive, sometimes bitter, personal attacks from both Trump and Harris during the campaign, Trump called for unity last night. While Democrats had warned that Trump might seek to extend his term beyond 2029, the Constitution’s two-term limit prohibits a third term, ensuring that he will complete his presidency by 2029. Voters on both sides emphasized protecting democracy as a central concern, although they differed on what it means to safeguard it.
This election season has been marked by fierce polarization, with campaign supporters on both sides often trading insults. Yet, despite the divisive rhetoric, a few leaders and citizens alike sought to rise above the tension, seeking common ground.
The economy proved to be the decisive issue of this election, outweighing other important matters like immigration and abortion. Trump’s proposed policies on economic reform resonated widely, propelling him to victory and securing a strong Republican trifecta in Washington. The party’s control of both the Senate and possibly the House signals a mandate for their platform and a new era of leadership for the nation. Many House seats are still being determined currently.
As legal challenges against Trump linger, it is likely many will be paused during his presidency. However, any fines or jail sentences will need to be addressed after he completes his term, at which time he will be 82, potentially sparing him from serving time due to age.
Kamala Harris is expected to formally concede this afternoon, recognizing the electoral mandate achieved by Trump and the Republican party. Today, Whittier 360 News Network congratulates the GOP on its successes and looks ahead to a unified future, respecting the electoral voice of the American people.
